EFF Files Class Action Lawsuit Against Sony BMG
The Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF), along with two leading national class action law firms, today filed a lawsuit against Sony BMG, demanding that the company repair the damage done by the First4Internet XCP and SunnComm MediaMax software it included on over 24 million music CDs.
Cingular will be sold under name of AT&T
Apparently I’m going to be an AT&T customer once again. Looks like Cingular is going to be re-branded as AT&T after the merger with SBC. Personally I liked the Cingular name better, but I can see their point, AT&T is a much more recognizable name than Cingular.

AOL adding AIM Bots to your buddy list
I signed on to AIM today and got a message from AOL saying they had added a new group to my buddy list for AIM bots and had added 2 bots for me. Thanks AOL, but if I wanted them I could have added them myself.
Luckily they were able to be deleted just about as fast as they were added. But it would have been nice to be asked about this first.
