Don’t you love Spring Break? This is what I’ll be working on during mine.
I’m actually pretty excited about it and I know my kids are. It weighs in at over 500 lbs so needless to say I will getting some help to set it up. I may take pictures of the progress, who knows.
So I’ve began making a new theme. I call it ‘Earth’. Don’t know why, I guess because it has some “earthy” tones to it. You can watch my progress if you would like by using the theme-switcher. Not all of my links and pages are are integrated into it yet so look out for “under construction” behavior.
So, a Little Caesar’s opened in Keizer on Monday and I think everyone in Keizer was there Tuesday night. For those of you who aren’t familiar with Little Caesar’s, its a “to go” pizza joint. Basically they specialize in quick, cheap pizza. The weird thing about it is, it’s good pizza. (At least in my opinion)
Salem, my home town, had a couple of these about 10-12 years ago back in their “heyday” of “Pizza!Pizza!”. You used to get these two large, square pizzas in a long, paper wrapped container. But then they all closed down and the only one I knew that still existed was located in Monmouth, Oregon.
Well now they are back and I was quite excited. So, I decided to get some on my way home Tuesday night. I think everyone in Keizer was thinking the same thing because there was a line out the door and at least 20 people inside waiting for their order.
So I basically waited for almost an hour for this “quick”, cheap pizza. Don’t get me wrong, it was dang good, but I think I’ll be letting things settle down for a few weeks before I head back there.
Well I started my .Net training today. Not much to post about, basically got a general overview of the framework and what value and reference types are and a little about reflection. Nothing too new. All in all it was a good introduction, not candy coated, MS sales promo stuff. So, for that, I am thankful.
If anything interesting crops up this week. I’ll keep you posted. But, as I have been the past few weeks, I may be a little incognito.

Have you ever had one of those days where you feel like you’re running 100 mph and you’re not getting anywhere?
Neither have I. But its dang busy today.
Well as some of you may have noticed. Some of my sites were/are down. My server was compromised by a phpBB exploit. I’ve temporarily killed all the sites that were using phpBB and I’m looking into upgrading them to “plug the hole”. Let me tell you though, that was frantic 2 hours yesterday when I was trying to figure out what was going on. But now that that is behind me for the most part. I can breathe a little.
Anyway… got some work to do.
Whew… boy is it tiring coming back to work after a week and a half off. I had approximately 970 emails to wade through. Of course about 960 of them were spam. Those went by fairly quick (about as fast as I could hit the delete button).
Then I had the bigger issues to take care of, such as some installations that needed repaired. Got those done, but they took a while.
Anyway.. not going to bore you with the details, but I thought I would mention that I am back at work now. So I should be getting some posting in the next few days. But I’m not promising anything. Sometimes I’m just not inspired enough to write. 
Just a quick note to wish you all a Happy 2005. I’ll be back to my more regular posting on Monday the 3rd.
Well I’m prepping for my vacation tomorrow. Cleaning up after the explosion of Christmas in my house. I made out alright. Got pretty much what I was hoping for: Some movies (LOTR:RotK, Star Wars Trilogy, and Spiderman 2), some poker chips (500 pieces, aluminum case, 11.5 grams… sweet), and a game (Star Wars: Battlefront). All and all it was a good score.
Now I’m headed off to Prineville Resevoir for 3 nights. We’re looking for snow, but I’m not sure if we’ll find any. It’s been pretty sparce so far this season. Anyway… gotta get back to packing and getting ready.

I’ve started using Flickr to upload the pictures from my camera phone. Its a pretty cool little site actually. Really easy to use and manage your images. Now I just need to upgrade php on my server so I can use the FlickIt plugin for this site.
