I’m back.. didja miss me? Didn’t know I was gone? Well I was. I went camping on Thursday and returned home yesterday (Sunday). So I haven’t posted for a few days. I’m still catching up on reading all of the blogs I watch so don’t expect anything epic out of me today… not that anything “epic” ever happens here anyway. Although my last post seemed to spark a small, yet heated discussion between husband and wife. Ok.. it wasn’t heated, but it was funny never-the-less.

Camping was good… didn’t do much. But what are you supposed to do when you camp, relax, right? I went fishing four times and managed to catch zero fish. But I can chalk that one up to the time in the season (basically planting was over August 1st according to some sources). Of course some would argue that I caught a goose-egg because of my lack of fishing experience. They may be right, but I’m still going to stick to my excuse.. err, I mean, reason.

Anywho… I could ramble on for a while and that may actually be what some people want, but I’m going to once again disappoint you all and shadddup.

So tomorrow I’m having a garage sale. Well, actually it is a drive-way sale since my Mustang is in the garage up on jack stands right now. Anyone need any cool stuff like a table and chairs with a matching china cabinet? or a microwave cart? or my old clothes? :) Come on, I know you want my old clothes.

Anyway, so tonight should be filled with the fun of digging through all of this stuff and pricing it. I think I’ll be taking the day off tomorrow to help my wife out also. So if you’re in the neighborhood and you’ve been jonesin’ for some premo, recycled goods, stop buy and take home a car load.

I’m Back

Didja miss me? Didn’t think so. Judging by the number of comments I’ve received in the past week, I think I may be the first visitor back since I left.

Anyway, to sum everything up: New Orleans is HOT. Not hot as in cool, but hot as in temperature.

We took over 200 pics that I have uploaded to my gallery for all to enjoy. The only problem is when the thumbnails were created, a bunch of color was lost. So I’ll have to look into that problem. If you view the full image though, you should see everything in full color (but the pic is huge then).

Apparently I am being chastised over in the comments of Avoiding Responsibility. There are claims that my blog is dead. Would you agree?

Sure I haven’t posted much lately, but it’s Quality over Quantity right?

Oh… wait… I guess that only works if you have Quality also.

Dang… I think I will write Haiku’s instead. :)

Canon Powershot A520

I bought a new digital camera a couple days ago. Its a Canon Powershot A520. It does a pretty nice job. I’ve already uploaded some photos to my flickr page, which you can see on the left.

This is my first digital camera, if you can believe that. I eventually want to get the Canon Digital Rebel, but my wife and I thought this would be a good first step since the Rebel is still around a thousand bucks. Plus it is nice to have a small camera around. My 35mm camera is a Canon EOS Rebel, which takes great pictures, but, because it is an SLR, it is big and bulky.

Anyway… pay attention to my flickr page and also my gallery, I imagine I will be updating those a little more in the future.

Possible interruption

Not like I’ve been a constant stream of content, but I may be experiencing some down time here in the next couple of days. I’m moving all of my sites to a new server and there will be a period of transition when dns will be updating.

Check out my new ride. Well I don’t have it yet, but we should be picking it up in about a week or so. This is the first brand new car we’ve (my wife and I) bought and we’re pretty excited.

Still alive

Yeah.. so I’ve been on a bit of a hiatus from posting. Sorry about that. Had a rough couple of weeks there. I barely worked at all. My son got pretty sick and dehydrated and had to go to the hospital to be put on IV fluids. He’s much better now, but my attention hasn’t been on keeping things up to date here. I’ll see about remedying that, but no promises.

Google Weirdness

Well apparently my pagerank has dropped off of the face of the earth. Weird. Oh well, not like I care all that much about page rankings. But I just find it curious that I can go from a pagerank of 4 one day to an “unranked” status the next.

I wonder if it is because all of my links aren’t on my front page anymore.. I might have to look into that. Oh wait.. I don’t care about page ranks, right?

Sorry about the long vacation away.. I was, er, on vacation. Well I officially got back to work on Monday so I don’t have any excuse as to why I haven’t been posting other than lack of content to post. Guess I should start making stuff up just to keep the ball rolling.

I’ll see if I can come up with some B.S. here real soon.. I promise.. well maybe.
