Gasoline Prices on the Rise
As expected, gas has hit the $3 mark in parts of the country. I think I’m going to have to start looking for a scooter. The gas hog I am driving now, just won’t cut the mustard.

***Edit*** – I’m going to leave this up at the top for a few days so everyone has a chance to help
***Update*** – so far: $1,241,359 with 1,826 blogs participating.
Today is Blog Relief Day which is a drive for all bloggers to encourage their readers to donate to the relief efforts for those who were affected by Katrina.
The charity I chose is American Red Cross (1-800-HELP-NOW).
The American Red Cross has mobilized thousands of volunteers to respond in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. The Red Cross plans to send close to 2,000 volunteers in the area to begin the initial response in the next few days.
Make a contribution and then note it here. We are trying to keep track of who has donated.
If you have a blog, I encourage you to register at TruthLaidBear’s Blog Aid page and add a link to their Flood Aid Page. Also, be sure to link to Instapundit’s Roundup Page and email Instapundit the URL of your post.
