The lawyers “will not recognize any date for the trial if it comes within weeks or months,” said Khalil Dulaimi, Saddam’s Iraqi lawyer, in a statement issued from Baghdad.
Apparently not enough notice has been given to Saddam about the Trial date.
My Question: How would you like to be this guys lawyer?
That job has got to suck big time. Imagine going to a party and people whispering and pointing fingers at you talking about how you are defending Saddam Hussein. Or maybe it would be a good thing if I was his laywer because I would suck at it and he would lose for sure. 
Now there’s a thought.
I’d be his lawyer. I’d lose in a horrible and embarrassing fashion, but I’d do it.
What makes me qualified? I can argue any point.
Why shouldn’t I be his lawyer? I don’t own a suit.
Amen to the above. at least about arguing any point. I can’t vouch for the suit part. Though if your socks are any indication I don’t think it’s beyond reason to think you don’t own an actual suit.
He may own a suit.. but there are only threads left, much like his socks.
