“This is a very, very important part of history and we’ve got to tell it right,” said Thomas Kean.
“As you read the report, you’re going to have a pretty clear idea what wasn’t done and what should have been done,” he said. “This was not something that had to happen.”
Appointed by the Bush administration, Kean, a former Republican governor of New Jersey, is now pointing fingers inside the administration and laying blame.
“There are people that, if I was doing the job, would certainly not be in the position they were in at that time because they failed. They simply failed,” Kean said.

Interesting…. because it’s coming from someone appointed by the Bush administration. A Republican, even. So, we can’t just dismiss this as liberal anti-Bush propoganda. Interesting.
I for one am a big fan of “liberal anti-Bush propoganda” and believe we need more of it.
Keep up the good work!
I’m generally not one to comment on politics cause I don’t follow them much, but this article just made me think about the jackasses running our country.
We should stage a bloody coup. Chris can be president, I’ll be the queen and Josh can secretly run everything.
Can I be the guy in the back with the fancy gun, comfortable shoes and black sun glasses…ya know the one with that look that tells you he thinks he knows more than he knows. I wanna be that guy.
The above happens, and I’m moving to Canada.
Aren’t you almost from Canada???
I think in this case almost counts. Your Canadian…face it.
