An interesting idea was introduced at Slashdot today. Attacking the Spammer Business Model is the idea of flooding the spammer with so many responses that it is no longer equitable for the company to be sending the spam. Anyway… just thought I would pass on the link… I thought it was an interesting approach.

hmm. interesting. I had an idea not too long ago that i wondered about. It was sort of labor intensive, and if i could figure out how to change that, i might do it. Every 3 days i clear out almost 400 spam messages from my filter on my ISP. I wanted to copy and paste all the email addresses and then just throw them up on an html page for the email harvesting bots. any valid email addresses would hopefully eventually get hit with evil spam, and invalid ones would bounce back, hopefully.
I dunno. sounds like it would work, to me, but i’m not a tech-savant or anything.
That sounds like a good plan as well… I wonder how hard it would be to implement.
