Well I just recruited a new author who plans to write some reviews on books and computer apps. So look forward to maybe some actual content soon. Thanks for hanging in there.

Spa Party!!!!
Woohoo!!!! My spa is finally fixed…. well I hope it is anyway. I’ll let you know after I fill it up for the next hour or so and then spend 12 hours after that heating it. I’m pretty dang excited though. Of course, my excitement is subdued a little by the fact that I had to write out a check for $600 to get said spa fixed. But we were expecting that when we bought the place so we were sure to keep some aside for it.
Some of you may say, “Holy crap! You dropped that kind of money for a stinkin’ spa.” But I say, “Hell Yeah!!!”. It will totally be worth it. Just getting a chance to relax and ease my muscles whenever I want. Damn, I would’ve paid twice that amount. Anyway, the spa dude gave me a good idea too. If anyone ever wants to come and use the spa, I’ll just charge them 5 bucks. I can just say that it will go towards future repairs, if any are needed. Then if I ever have to spend money again on it, it won’t be so tragic.
So looks like I have my weekend planned now. My own little, private spa party.
Failblazers Drop Their Season Opener
Well I caught the last two quaters of the game last night versus Utah. I must say when I started watching and saw that the Blazers were up by 8 I was rather excited. I thought there might just be a chance that we could start this season off right. They were forcing the ball in close, defending really well and, all-around, looked like they new what they were doing.
But I was jumping the gun. Here came the fourth quarter breakdown that us Portland fans are all too familiar with. They looked like a High School team who have never played with each other before. Their passing was sloppy. They let Utah take easy shots. And their accuracy went out the window.
It looks like another long season for us Blazer fans. Hopefully they get things figured out before too long.
Chatterbox Bye Bye
Well I got rid of the chatterbox for now. It seemed to make the site to busy looking…… I want it to not be so cluttered. If anyone has any comments on how things look or should look feel free to pipe up about it.
Microsoft Using G5′s…. fires Employee
I just read about this this morning on slashdot and had to post it here. This guy took a picture of some G5′s being delivered to M$ and posted it on his blog and they fired him for it. Isn’t that crazy. Of course M$ has some Macs any viable business who wants to know their competition would buy their competitors products. But because this guy to what he thought was a funny picture of it, he was fired. Anyway… read what he has to say.
Screenshots
As promised… I played Call Of Duty. I took a couple screenshots so I’ll post em here. Overall, it was fun. It was definitely more scripted then others though. However, I do see the potential for some kickass multiplayer action.

Call Of Duty
So I’m in the process of dowloading the Call Of Duty demo. I was tipped off to it by a frequent reader, so will see if it is worth the play. My first thoughts are, “Geez, another WWII FPS“. But according to the guy who told me about it, it is something not short of amazing. So I will give it a try and then let you know what I think.
Ho Hum
Well today has been extremely boring. I inserted an adstrip today (after I got my friggin internet connection working again). I know advertising tends to be intrusive and irrelevant, but maybe if I can get some advertisers to try to push their wares here I can make something off of this site. Heh heh. Yeah, like I expect to make anything. If the advertising gets to boring, then I’ll pull it, but I don’t think it will bother anyone.
Dentist
I just got back from the dentist and boy is my mouth sore. No cavities of course, but my dentist sure isn’t gentle with that floss. They keep feeding me the story that if I flossed more often my gums would be used to it. But I don’t know, I’m not sure if I buy it or not. Anyway….. haven’t found much of interest on the net today and work is fairly quiet. So kindof a boring day.
Chatterbox
K, found a new neat kindof thing today. Its called chatterbox. It allows me to have a little chat deal on the side of my blog here. I already put it in as you can see. Throw some stuff in there and let me know what you think. There’s even smiley’s in it.
